Mrs. Abigail (Johnson) Cutting, was born near Bedfort, Maine, Aug. 5th., 1810.  Died April 18th., 1888, aged 77 years, 8 months and 3 days.  She was married to Samuel Cutting Sept. 22nd., 1833, 3 years later they moved to this place, where they have since resided.  Four children were born to them, none but the husband survives to mourn her loss.  Grandmother Cutting has been very energetic and a hard worker, spending the greater part of her life assisting her husband in keeping hotel.  For the last ten years or more, she has been a great sufferer, yet bore it all without a murmur or complaint, still patiently waiting when her Heavenly Father would say 'tis enough.
